National journalists engaged in a conversation with Penn professors and student journalists examining how the media have shaped the federal urban political agenda and how the concerns of cities and metropolitan regions - from infrastructure investment to economic development, from housing to immigration - have figured into the 2008 political campaign. The outlook for urban policy under a new administration in Washington in 2009 was also discussed.
